This is a guide for the less experienced users of our Shaped Edible Stickers. Normally the Profile Edible Sticker designs are generally small in size and printed in straight lines on the edible paper sheet. If you are inexperienced at removing our shaped edible stickers then we suggest you cut a row out with a pair of scissors. By carefully bending the sheet over you should start to see the cut line appear more distinctly. Usually it should just literally peel off or even fall out when you do this. Simply place the Shaped Edible Sticker onto your slightly moist icing. Use clean dry hands and avoid handling too much when you are applying the Stickers. If your icing is too dry and you are not wishing to apply a light spray of water to your icing then you can always brush some Egg White onto the back of the Shaped Edible Sticker and then place onto the icing. Sometimes due to excessive humidity the stickers may react a little differently. If so then please adopt one of the following procedures: 1: Using the printed edible paper sheet cut 2 or 3 rows of Stickers at a time and place them into a freezer for 30-60 seconds, they can stay in there much longer, it will not harm them. Then carefully remove the rows of Stickers from the freezer and apply immediately. The reason for choosing to handle 2 or 3 rows of small Stickers at any one time allows the application to be carried out quickly before air softens the edible paper which can cause application problems. Stickers - Large Size: Work with one at a time….Why! Incase application problems may be encountered. Adopting this method gives sufficient time to successfully apply the edible Sticker to the cake. When the edible Stickers are removed from the freezer together the Stickers and the backing paper are solid in condition but still flexible. The Stickers simply pop off the backing paper (literally falls off it's that easy) ready for application… Caution: It is impossible to tackle and apply multiple Shaped Edible Stickers at the same time using this method as the Sugar Paper will soften very quickly and may become too soft to handle. If this happens place it back into the freezer to harden it again and then apply the image. 2: Using a Hair Dryer gently blow heat over a collection of Shaped Edible Stickers for a few minutes. This will dry any excess moisture from the prints and allow you to remove them. Caution: Too much heat may cause the Shaped Edible Stickers to become brittle and prone to breaking. If this is happening place the prints in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or more which will enable the paper to absorb moisture and soften again.
